  • Our Government Under the Healing and Unifying Power of Divine Love
    Sunday, March 25
    4:30 PM
"No power can withstand divine Love." Could that possibly be true? Maryl Walters, a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science healing from St. Louis, finds this idea courageous and bold, as well as deeply comforting. In this free talk, she will discuss and give examples from her public ministry of how she has seen this divine Love bring peace, strength, and health to families and communities. She will explore fresh concepts from the Bible, and draw on Mary Baker Eddy’s main work, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, a book based on the Bible that explains how anyone can experience the power of divine Love in action.

  • Healing Violence Through Divine Love
    Saturday, April 7
    3:30 PM
Issues surrounding violence in our relationships and communities are at the forefront of thought. While many people are looking at this challenge from political, socioeconomic, racial, and other perspectives, it's important not to overlook the spiritual. Maryl Walters, an international Christian speaker from St. Louis, Missouri, says that Divine Love, the Love that the Bible shows is God, is a great untapped power that can help solve the challenges of violence. It's a life-changing power, a community-renewing power, a relationship-building power that allows us to love our neighbors with a powerful love that truly makes a difference.
